Alex The Astronaut, Allday, Sneaky Sound System and more have all been enlisted to play new pop-up venue in Sydney, Sunset Piazza.
Sunset Piazza will be hosting a concert series celebrating its opening, and will also see performances from Peking Duk, Kwame, Ben Lee and JK-47.
The series will take place from the end of the month and go until the end of March, located at Cathedral Square at Hyde Park.
“I love the feeling of going to a new stage, I always get a rush of adrenaline when I get to a venue and see the layout and imagine what the show might look like,” Alex The Astronaut said of the upcoming shows in a press statement.
“I grew up in Sydney so I’ve driven past Cathedral Square so many times but I’ve never walked through it.”
“After last year, the whole world has experienced and continues to experience so much upheaval so I think if we can come together in a safe way and tell stories and let people get away from what they’ve been through for an hour or so, it’d be a really healing thing for everyone involved,” she continued.
