Alexisonfire Announce 2017 Australian Tour

Canadian post-hardcore legends Alexisonfire have announced a string of Australian headline shows around their appearance at Unify Gathering 2017 in January, with gigs lined up in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

In March 2015, Alexisonfire confirmed they were reuniting after breaking up in 2011, and went on to confirm a run of shows which unfortunately didn’t include Australia. The band last toured down under in 2012, but are now ready for their triumphant return to Aussie shores.

Alexisonfire released their fourth and latest studio album, Old Crows / Young Cardinals, in 2009. Since then, the band have confirmed that while they are no longer on hiatus, things aren’t quite the same as they used to be.

Alexisonfire’s Aussie headline shows kick off in Perth on Wednesday, 11th January. Joining Alexisonfire as special guests will be Dine Alone Records’ label-mates, The Dirty Nil.

The band will also headline Unify Gathering in the same month, topping a bill which also includes the likes of Violent Soho, Northlane, Every Time I Die and The Getaway Plan.

Catch date and ticket details for the band’s upcoming Aussie headline shows, below.

UPDATE: Alexis have announced the supports for the run – The Getaway Plan, fresh from a 4-year hiatus Behind Crimson Eyes and The Dirty Nil.
