When The Amity Affliction‘s Ahren Stringer dropped his debut foray in the world of hip-hop back in July, we knew it had to be more than just a one-off goof. Back to prove that Champagne Breakfast wasn’t a fluke, Stringer’s drafted some help from fellow rhymers Deez Nuts for his latest cut, White Joel Birch.
An ode to Amity Affliction vocalist Joel Birch, Stringer’s latest batch of rhymes is the first he’s released with his new hip-hop supergroup, Royal Family. The collective features such renowned rapping talents as Deez Nuts guitarist Matt Rogers, who drops a verse, and drummer Alex Salinger, who appears in the clip.
Also featured on the track is Lady KC, the Beyonce to Stringer’s Jay-Z. Last time around, Lady KC warned fans that they should “prep [them]selves for LOLz” before checking out the clip, and we reckon this time is no different. Just wait for the part where Stringer rhymes ‘John Stamos’ with ‘famous’.
