Amyl And The Sniffers Expand 2027 Australian Summer Tour

Amyl And The Sniffers have expanded their massive 2027 Australian summer tour, adding two extra shows in Melbourne and Adelaide following a rapid sellout in the Victorian capital.

The Melbourne pub punk juggernauts announced their homecoming run last week, with six shows now locked in across Brisbane, Fremantle, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide throughout February and March.

After tickets to their original St Kilda performance on Sunday, 7th March were snapped up, the band have added a second show at Palace Foreshore on Monday, 8th March, along with a brand-new all-ages gig at Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Wednesday, 10th March.

Tickets for both newly announced dates are on sale now.

The expanded run will see Amy Taylor and co. return to Aussie stages after another mammoth stretch of international touring, bringing their famously ferocious live show to a string of outdoor venues around the country.

The tour kicks off at Brisbane’s On The Banks on Friday, 26th February, with support from WAAX and Southeast Desert Metal, before heading west to Fremantle’s Palace Foreshore on Sunday, 28th February, where GRUB and Southeast Desert Metal will warm up the crowd.

Next up is Sydney’s Golden Hour at Bondi Beach on Thursday, 4th March, featuring Barkaa and Xiao Xiao, followed by the band’s two St Kilda shows with Spike Fuck and Techno 666.

The newly announced Adelaide date will round out the tour, with local favourites West Thebarton and Rosie and the Posies joining the bill.

The homecoming shows follow a whirlwind few years for Amyl And The Sniffers, whose third studio album Cartoon Darkness arrived in 2024 and propelled them to even greater international heights.

Produced by Nick Launay, the record debuted at number two on the ARIA Albums Chart, earned the band their first Grammy nomination and marked their debut appearance on the US Billboard 200.

The band went on to scoop four ARIA Awards in 2025, including Best Group and Best Album, alongside Best Live Act at the Rolling Stone Australia Awards and Song of the Year at the APRA Awards.

They’ve also continued to tear up stages around the world, with major festival appearances including Glastonbury and Coachella, and even found time to release a live country album.

But beyond the riffs, sweat and glorious punk rock chaos, the band are also using their Australian homecoming to support a number of important causes.

$5 from every ticket sold across the summer tour will be donated to charity, with the funds split equally between seven organisations: Foodbank Australia, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre, Living Knowledge Network, Wilya Janta (Standing Strong) Housing Collaboration, Sisters Inside and Teach Us Consent.

An additional $1 from every ticket sold to the Sydney show will also be donated to the Bondi and North Bondi Surf Life Saving Clubs, recognising their actions during the Bondi attack.

“We want to extend our love and respect to the local community, and most importantly to those members of the Jewish community who were targeted during the attack,” the band said in a statement.

“Thank you for letting us play.”

With their original Melbourne date already sold out and two new shows joining the itinerary, Amyl And The Sniffers’ summer homecoming is shaping up to be one hell of a celebration.
