Dust off your battle jackets: Anthrax are officially heading back to Australia in March 2026 for four massive shows, marking their first visit since 2019 and promising the kind of pit-igniting mayhem only one of thrash’s Big Four can deliver.
The metal legends will tear through Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, unleashing a career-spanning set stuffed with riffs. Expect the classics, the deep cuts, the new-era ragers and the kind of high-octane, no-nonsense performance that proves Anthrax haven’t slowed down for anything in over four decades.
Anthrax – ‘Antisocial’
The carnage kicks off on Monday 23 March at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, hits Hindley Street Music Hall in Adelaide on Wednesday 25 March, detonates Festival Hall, Melbourne on Thursday 26 March, and wraps with a final blowout at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday 28 March.
Hailing from New York City and forged in the fires of 1980s thrash, Anthrax have sold over 10 million albums, survived every possible lineup shakeup, industry apocalypse and musical trend, and still deliver live shows with the intensity of a band half their age and twice their caffeine intake. Their influence on heavy music is the stuff of textbooks.
It’s been seven long years since Aussie fans last saw them in the flesh, and if history is anything to go by, this run is going to be sweaty, loud, cathartic and extremely bad for your chiropractor.
