Austin Mackay Announces 2024 Australian Regional Tour

Australian singer-songwriter Austin Mackay is set to embark on his first-ever regional tour throughout June and July.

The tour will begin at Mudgeeraba’s The Wallaby Hotel on Sunday, 9th June, followed by Geelong’s Barwon Club on Thursday, 4th July, and will wrap up at Childers’ Childers Festival on Sunday, 28th July.

Austin Mackay is originally from Newcastle, NSW, he is celebrated for his unique songwriting style that blends heartfelt folk melodies with an energetic country/rock vibe. Influenced by artists like James Bay, John Mayer, and Chris Stapleton, Mackay has spent years honing his craft to create a distinct fusion of country, folk, and rock music.

Austin Mackay has shared the stage with notable artists such as Brad Cox, The Dreggs, Kim Churchill, and Thirsty Merc, Mackay is no stranger to captivating live performances. His talent has earned him slots at renowned Australian festivals like Byron Bay Bluesfest and Springtime Festival.

His music has gained over two million streams on Spotify within his first few years of releasing music. In the past year, he has treated fans to several singles, including “Call Me Lover,” “Real Life,” and “Since Autumn,”.

He is back now with his 2024 single ‘Hearts On Fire’ to further solidify his place in the Australian music scene.
