Australia’s east coast just scored a br00tal new metal mini-festival dubbed Southern Slaughter.
The inaugural mosh will head to venues in Sydney and Melbourne this September, with sets from Swedish death metal institution Bloodbath and local thrash force In Malice’s Wake.
The lineups of each leg will then be rounded out by some local legends, with Rise of Avernus, Anno Domini, Immorium (ACT), Claret Ash and Bastardizer smashing the stage in Sydney and Mason, Monoliyth, Cryptic Abyss, Scaphis and Blackhelm doing the honours in Melbourne.
Tickets are on sale from 12pm AEST this Friday, 19th April.
