English rock trio Babyshambles have dropped a brand-new track, Farmer’s Daughter, taken from their highly anticipated third studio album Sequel To The Prequel, which will be getting an Australian release on Friday, 30th August.
Farmer’s Daughter is a gorgeous little slice of laid back rock ‘n’ roll and a nice indicator of the album to come, with Pete Doherty‘s vocals sounding better than ever. Sequel To The Prequel was produced by Stephen Street, recorded at Question Du Son, Paris and mixed in The Bunker, London, with the first official single Nothing Comes To Nothing expected for release on Monday, 26th August.
The band were recently forced to cancel their Australian Splendour In The Grass sideshows following advice from immigration solicitors, with this weekend’s Splendour performance being the one and only live show from the trio on this trip Down Under.
