Ruby Fields and Baker Boy have announced they’ll be bringing stacked all-ages shows to regional areas across Victoria, stopping in Benalla, Hepburn Springs, Geelong and Leongatha this October.
The shows are presented by triple j Unearthed in conjunction with The Push, Victoria’s leading youth music organisation.
Plus, if you’re aged 18 or under and located in Central Victoria, Ballarat, South West Victoria or Gippsland, you and/or your band could be joining one of the shows. All you have to do is upload your music to the triple j Unearthed site here by Sunday, 8th September – but if you’ve already done so, no dramas, you’re already automatically in with a chance. Check out all the details on that here.
Ruby Fields burst onto the scene back in 2017, going on to pack out stages at festivals like Splendour In The Grass and Laneway and selling out headline shows across the country behind EPs Your Dad’s Opinion for Dinner and the ‘Dinosaurs’-featuring Permanent Hermit.
Baker Boy, meanwhile, has rapidly become recognised as one of the most unique voices in Australian hip-hop right now. Backed by huge singles like ‘In Control’ and ‘Cool As Hell’, the rapper has become known for his wildly energetic live shows. Just days ago, he took out the Artist of the Year spot at this year’s National Indigenous Music Awards.
