The first round of speakers and panellists has been announced for this year’s edition of youth music conference Feedback, which returns in 2022 after a two-year hiatus.
The conference is presented by MusicNSW and aimed at those between 12 to 25 who are interested in learning more and pursuing a career in the music business. Hosted by rapper and activist Dobby, this year’s edition features an impressive lineup of professionals ready to share advice about all facets of the industry – be it as a performer or behind the scenes in publicity or management.
Among those is trailblazing rapper Barkaa, who will deliver a keynote address as part of the event. Other guests include triple j presenter Lucy Smith, Unearthed music director Dave Ruby Howe, Future Classic A&R manager Andy Garvey, twnty three founder Melody Forghani, artist manager Ricky Simandjuntak and many more.

It’s set to will take place on Saturday, 30th April at JMC Academy in Ultimo, Sydney, and will be held as a hybrid of both IRL and online spaces. Both in-person and virtual tickets are available now, with all income from ticket sales donated to help support musicians who have been impacted by recent flooding in NSW.
