The one-lady extravaganza Bat for Lashes will be headlining just 2 very special performances while in town for Laneway next year. Sydney and Melbourne have scored the two shows, taking place at the Enmore and Palais theatres respectively.
Natasha Khan, the one responsible for the current Bat for Lashes hype, has taken the world captive with her latest release The Haunted Man. The album was met with tremendous approval from both fans and media, who sang praise for The Haunted Man from the highest peaks (including Pitchfork, The Guardian, and The Age).
Supporting Bat for Lashes for the run of shows will be local-grown talent Kirin J. Callinan. The Sydney-based talent has found her footing very quickly, recently performing at CMJ, where she stole the show.
