Nine MSN have posted on Celebrityfix the first pics of parents Beyonce and Jay-Z with their newborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Earlier this week is was reported across all media that the couple is in the process of trademarking Blue’s full name. Many have speculated about the reasons behind the move to legally protect Blue’s name. Some media sources have suggested it’s to protect from competitors selling the baby’s name back to the family; while others suggest Beyonce and Jay-Z intend to launch a line of baby related products.
At any rate, baby Blue has already featured on Jay-Z’s latest single Glory, a song dedicated to his daughter’s birth.
