The inaugural lineup for Beyond The Valley, Phillip Island’s latest and greatest NYE musical event, has expanded. Joining a roster that already features the formidable likes of AlunaGeorge and Action Bronson are Danny Brown, Hermitude, Indian Summer, Holy Holy, and D.D. Dumbo, plus officially added Adelaide rapper Allday to the bill.
Other artists now set to descend on Victoria’s favourite festival hub this New Year’s holiday period include masked, genre-bending electronic producer Slow Magic, fellow beatmaker Tâches, Melbourne rhyme-slinger Ivan Ooze, Sydney-based buzz band Mansionair, and acclaimed UK dance maestro Tourist.
The event’s first-ever lineup had already seen some expansion with the addition of Adelaide hip-hop talent Allday last month. The rapper took to Facebook to announce his place in the inaugural bill, not unlike fellow lineup act The Preatures, who leaked their place on the lineup ahead of the official reveal.
Shortly after, organisers finally unveiled those much-talked about VIP luxury camping options. Punters are able to choose between two main camping sites at the festival. Electric City will be a fully powered camping ground, with convenient vehicle parking, and for those looking to go glamping, the Lux site will feature fully furnished hotel-style tents with state-of-the-art amenities, including Egyptian cotton sheets.
The response from fans has been so huge that all powered sites sold out within weeks, with organisers now confirming the addition of 50 further powered sites, available from Thursday, 18th September. Meanwhile, the glamping packages are now 50 percent sold out so keen punters better act quick.
Rising from the ashes of the dearly departed Pyramid Rock Festival, Beyond The Valley is a proudly boutique event. The awesome lineup will be spread over two stages and two days, with the festival expected to draw 10,000 punters, who’ll experience “a higher standard” than other similar festivals.
