Big Day Out 2012 will wrap up in Perth today and you can view set times/timetable, maps and transport information below.
It hasn’t been a smooth ride for the Big Day Out in 2012. It was supposed to be a celebration of 20 years, however it turned into a bit of a nightmare. Vivian Lees quit the partnership just days after tickets went on sale saying ‘I feel like I’ve been in an abusive relationship’.
Remaining partner Ken West then sold 51% of the company to a promotion company from the United States, reports SMH.
Update 05/02/2012 BDO CEO Adam Zammit has told the age that Big Day Out sold 50% of the company to c3, not 51% as previously reported by Adelaide now, Sydney Morning Herald, Fasterlouder, Optus Zoo, Perth Now, Tonedeaf, centralwesterndaily and brisbanetimes.

Big Day Out 2012- Perth Transport Information
Public transport is the easiest way to get to and from the Big Day Out. The event is joint ticketed, meaning your ticket to the BDO includes travel on all Transperth services, for three hours before, during and after the event until end of service. Simply show your ticket to the driver or inspector on your way to the event and your wristband on the way home.
Transport will have a shuttle bus service operating direct to McCallum Park from the Wellington Street Bus Station in Perth. Catch the train to Perth Station or Perth Underground, which is right next door to the bus station. Trains are scheduled to arrive every 15 minutes throughout the day however you can visit transperth.wa.gov.au or call 13 62 13 for more information.
After the event shuttle buses will run from the venue back to Perth where you can easily transfer to a train service. Trains will continue to operate on a 15-minutre frequency throughout the night until end of service. The last trains out of Perth on all lines will depart Perth and Perth Underground at 12.15am.
With public transport included and plenty of parking nearby at Taylor Reserve, getting in and out of the Big Day Out is easy!
