As the kick-off for this year’s BIGSOUND Music Conference and BIGSOUND Live draws closer, the Music Feeds team prepares to pack up our HQ to relocate not too far from Brisbane’s very own ‘Rock City’, The Fortitude Valley. We will be providing extensive coverage of all the evening live shows as well as highlights from the keynote speakers, not to mention lots and lots and LOTS of artist interviews.
Taking place at various locations throughout The Valley, the live music hot spot will become a hustling ground for creative and entrepreneurial concepts, theories and dreams, drawing all forms of genius from all over the world. BIGSOUND is an opportunity for some of the most established names in the music biz to come within handshake distance of some of the most promising up-and-comers. The result will be covered by the Music Feeds’ team as we interview, review and report our way through the conference’s centres, live venues, pubs and bars of Brissy.
Commencing this Wednesday, BIGSOUND will be going non stop for three days. With talks from some highly accomplished and insightful music industry figures such as Clare Bowditch, Ben Lee, Studio 301’s Nick Di Dia, Big Day Out’s Ken West, Scott Bagby from Rdio, and many more.
BIGSOUND Live will also showcase performances from some of the most exciting, yet-to-be discovered bands and there will be headlining performances from The Beards, Clare Bowditch, Ball Park Music, Closure in Moscow, The Cairos, Eagle and the Worm, Rufus, Flume, Pigeon, Elizabeth Rose, Hungry Kids of Hungry, Winter People, Owl Eyes, Violent Soho and HEAPS more.
You won’t miss a moment of it as we Post, Tweet and Instagram (@musicfeeds) updates from all corners of the Fortitude Valley, reporting on the scheduled, and unscheduled happenings as, and in some cases before, they transpire.
