17-year-old wunderkind Billie Eilish has done the unthinkable and knocked Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus‘ all-conquering hit ‘Old Town Road’ off the #1 spot on the US Billboard charts, after the song held the top spot for a record breaking 19 weeks.
Billie did so with ‘Bad Guy’, the lead single from her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? which dropped earlier this year. She is also the first artist born after the year 2000 to snag the top spot.
Both Nas X and Cyrus have congratulated Billie on snagging her first #1 on social media.

‘Old Town Road’ has been at the top spot in America since April, and two weeks ago broke the record for the longest standing #1 in the country when it overtook Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s ‘Despacito’ and Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men’s ‘One Sweet Day’.
Billie posted on her Instagram story to celebrate the momentous occasion, writing “AAAYYYYEEE WE MADE IT” while also shouting out Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus.
