The twice-rescheduled Black Veil Brides Aussie tour is all systems go for May of this year, and to prove it, they’ve just announced a bunch of local supports.
Destroy All Lines are sharing the love, appointing a different local act from their roster to open the show in each city.
Heavy alternative crew Days Like These will be doing the honours in Brisbane, pop-punkers Closure will be on support duties in Sydney, heavy outfit The Last Martyr will be warming up the stage at both Melbourne dates, while emo troupe Wolf & Chain will be getting the party started in their native Adelaide.
BVB will be returning to our shores for the first time in six seven eight long years this May and — as per their derailed 2020 plan — they’ll ripping a stack of licensed/all ages shows for fans in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide (FYI the Melbourne event will be broken into two shows – one AA in the arvo and one 18+ in the evening).
All tickets to their previous shows remain valid for the new dates — and if you haven’t bought one yet, more are on sale now.
The tour marks the Hollywood glam rockers’ first visit to our shores since Soundwave 2014, during which you might remember they made an unwitting cameo on TV’s Bondi Rescue when guitarists Jinxx and Jake Pitts got caught in a rip at Sydney’s Bondi Beach (frontman Andy Beirsack AKA Andy Black has of course been back here in solo mode since then though).
It also marks the band’s first Aussie tour since releasing their 2018 Vale LP
