Just when you thought they couldn’t possibly cram more goodness into this year’s Bluesfest, organisers have gone and done just that, dropping some last minute names on to the 25th anniversary lineup of the festival.
Supergroup Coronet Blue will be hitting the Bluesfest stage, with an all-star lineup featuring John Rooney, Blondie Chaplin, Mitch Easter, Ken Stringfellow, Don Dixon and Rob Ladd. Husband and wife duo The Mastersons have been added to the bill, while John Mayer‘s guitarist Zane Carney will now be playing a solo show as well as one with Mayer.
There’s also a host of Aussie names that have been added, including Troy Cassar-Daley, John Williamson, Round Mountain Girls, Phil Manning, Claire Anne Taylor, as well as the local Byron Bay High School Collaboration.
There will also be a very special Taste Of Boomerang sampler, with Boomerang being a festival held on the same site as Bluesfest each October. Taste Of Boomerang will star Troy Cassar-Daley, Glenn Skuthorpe, Chris Tamwoy, Jannawi Dancers and ACPA Dancers.
