Prepare to start crying tears of green and gold, because beloved Aussie rock exports Wolfmother have just been named to support the legendary Guns N’ Roses on a handful of their Not In This Lifetime US reunion tour dates.
Hot off releasing their fourth studio LP Victorious, Andrew Stockdale & co will be lubing up the stage for GNR at their shows in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
They join a ~very eclectic~ list of support acts named to share the stage with Gunners on their historic reunion tour, including Alice in Chains, Lenny Kravitz, Chris Stapleton, The Cult, Billy Talnet, and – yep – motherfkn Skrillex.
Axl, Slash, Duff & co are expected to be bringing their reunion tour Down Under in January of next year.
Hopefully that means we’ll get to see some Wolfmother action here as well (maybe even see Slash & Stockdale give us a live rendish of their 2010 collab By The Sword?)
We can dream.
