Brisbane Is Hosting A Benefit Show For The Ghost Inside This Week

This Friday, 24th June, Brisbane will be hosting a benefit gig in favour of The Ghost Inside who are recovering from a horrific tour bus accident. Today, the event has gotten even bigger with the addition of local muso and The Ghost Inside devotee Beth Lucas.

Since 2012, Lucas has enjoyed a deep relationship with the hardcore outfit, performing an acoustic rendition of their fan favourite White Light. Lucas was then invited by the band to perform the new fan favourite at a show in California. This would be the first time Lucas ever performed the song in front of an audience.

Fast forward to 2014, and Lucas was again invited to play her version of White Lights on homes oil in Brisbane. By now the fans were more than comfortable with singing right back at her, as the footage shows. Since The Ghost Inside’s horrific bus crash, Lucas released a new single Little Faith on Bandcamp, donating the profits to the band.

Beth joins the previously announced lineup of local talent including Young Lions, Driven Fear and I Am Villain, making this one hellova night.

All profits from the show will go straight back to helping The Ghost Inside’s recovery. The band survived what was described as “a living nightmare” of a tour bus crash in 2015. Drummer Andrew Tkaczyk lost his leg in the crash however, looking at the images of the aftermath, things could have been far, far worse.
