Cairns’ month long live music series, Cairns Summer Sounds, launches this weekend. Running every weekend in February, Summer Sounds brings some of Australia’s favourite live acts to tropical far north Queensland.
Ocean Alley get things started with back-to-back shows at CPAC Theatre. The Northern Beach sextet will play a set full of triple j favourites on Friday, 4th and Saturday, 5th February. Tickets here
Vera Blue is headlining weekend two of Cairns Summer Sounds, bringing her nationally acclaimed live show to CPAC Theatre on Friday, 11th February. Vera Blue was recently in the triple j studios covering The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s ‘Stay’ for Like A Version. Tickets here
The series will go out with a bang courtesy of the renowned touring event, RocKwiz Live, presented by Julia Zemiro and Brian Nankervis. RocKwiz Live is a blend of music trivia, comedy and live music. Zemiro and Nankervis are bringing Dugald the Roadie, the RocKwiz Orkestra and special guests with them to the to CPAC on Friday, 25th and Saturday, 26th February. Tickets here
