You Can Live Stream Metallica’s Super Bowl Pre-Show

Metallica are set to play a pre-Super Bowl show the night before the big game in San Francisco and now they’ve announced that they will be sharing that with the world.

The band will stream the performance from San Francisco’s AT&T Park through the band’s LiveMetallica site. The next day Coldplay and Beyoncé will take to the stage as part of the Super Bowl half time show but Metallica will get the atmosphere warmed up the night before.

“The concert has been sold out for months, but we don’t want anyone to be left out,” the band wrote on their website.

“If you can’t join us in person do the next best thing and catch the live webstream direct from the Bay Area on February 6, 2016.”

The action will start from 8.30pm Pacific Standard Time which equates to 3.30pm 7th February AEDST. That means you can spend your Sunday afternoon kicking back with a little Metallica, if you so fancy.

The band will also be sharing updates on their website as the stage is built and footage from rehearsals at “Metallica HQ”.

Late last year, Metallica shared some footage from the studio where they are reportedly working on their tenth album. Let’s hope that they decide to give the world a sneak peak of some new material during the stream.
