Caribou Teases DJ Sets Following 2025 Australian Tour

Caribou‘s Dan Snaith has taken to Instagram to gauge interest in extending his current tour of Australia with a run of DJ sets. Resharing a story filmed at Caribou’s Melbourne show, which took place at the Port Melbourne Industrial Centre for the Arts (PICA), Snaith added that he “never want[s] to leave”. He then asked if he should “stay longer and do some DJ pop-ups”. This suggestion resulted in Caribou’s Instagram DMs being flooded, which Snaith later shared with the caption: “Got the message. Working on something, stay tuned.” Both can be viewed below.

Caribou’s current tour began with a set at Lost Paradise in Glenworth Valley over the new-year period, with a run of headlining shows beginning last Thursday (January 2nd) at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall. Shows followed this weekend past at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, the aforementioned PICA show and a show at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall last night. The tour will conclude with a performance on the South Lawn of Fremantle Arts Centre tomorrow (January 7th), with support from Perth DJs Bad Whip, Ben Taaffe and Rick Riley.

Caribou – ‘Honey’

Caribou released their sixth studio album, Honey, in October 2024. Four singles were released from the album ahead of its release: The title track in April, ‘Broke My Heart’ in June, ‘Volume’ in July and ‘Come Find Me’ in August. A fifth single, ‘Got To Change’, was released on the same day as the album’s release. Remixes for ‘Broke My Heart’ were also released in July, as produced by Champion and Caribou’s Australian east-coast touring partner Harry Hayes.
