The powerhouse duo of Yahtzel and L D R U, known as Carmada, have announced their first national headline tour in addition to their Groovin The Moo dates.
The four date tour, with special guest Kilter, will see the pair take to Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in support of their epic Realise EP which spawned the hit Maybe. It follows their inclusion on the mighty Groovin The Moo lineup which will see them play alongside A$AP Ferg, Charli XCX, Flight Facilities and plenty more.
It’s been a huge few months for the band since they debuted live at Splendour In The Grass in July last year. They played major festivals like Listen Out and Stereosonic and also penned a deal with Skrillex’s OWSLA label. In March they will head to Texas for the annual SXSW Festival which attracts massive industry attention. The international scene is yet to be discovered for Carmada but they’ve already won over the local audience placing at #41 in the triple J Hottest 100 on Australia Day.
Tickets for the national tour are on sale now in each city. For the early birds the band have put together a Realise goodie bag which will go to anybody who buys tickets in the first 24 hours from today, so you’d better hop to it.
