Chance The Rapper Pulls Out Of Rapture 2014

Chicago rapper Chancelor Bennett a.k.a. Chance The Rapper has taken to Twitter to announce to fans that he will not be joining the mega lineup helmed by Eminem and Kendrick Lamar when the former brings Rapture Festival 2014 Down Under next year.

It’s been an epic year for Chance, with 2013 seeing the rapper’s star rise quickly following the release of his highly acclaimed mixtape, Acid Rap. Thus it’s no surprise that the artist cited “mad tiredness” as the reason he won’t be joining a supporting cast that includes J. Cole and 360.

Despite appearing on early tour posters, Action Bronson was officially added to the Rapture 2014 lineup last week, and now it looks likely he’s being drafted in to replace Chance, with no word yet from Eminem or Rapture promoter the Dainty Group.
