Charles Bradley Forced To Cancel Tour Dates After His Cancer Returns

Veteran soul and RnB singer Charles Bradley has been forced to cancel his upcoming tour of North America, South America and Europe after a new diagnosis revealed his cancer has returned.

In 2016 the 67 year-old underwent treatment for stomach cancer, but his latest diagnosis has revealed that the cancer has now spread to his liver.

Bradley’s Facebook page was updated overnight with the news of his latest setback, revealing that since returning to touring he had begun to feel run down and ill.

“As you may have known, Charles was diagnosed with stomach cancer last fall and, after undergoing treatment and beating it, he returned to the road this past spring,” says the post.

“He began to feel run down during recent tour dates and learned that his cancer spread to his liver, though hasn’t returned to his stomach. He will be taking time off to focus on treatment and recovery.”

The post finished with a quote from Bradley. “I love all of you out there that made my dreams come true,” he said. “When I come back, I’ll come back strong, with God’s love. With God’s will, I’ll be back soon.”

Bradley was last in Australia in 2015 and released his most recent album Changes just last year.
