Charli XCX and Billie Eilish Donate Thousands of Underwear Pieces to Charity

British pop star Charli XCX and American singer Billie Eilish have made a generous donation of thousands of unworn underwear pieces to charity after featuring them in their new music video. The video is for the remix of Charli’s song “Guess,” which includes the lyrics, “You wanna guess the color of my underwear/ you wanna know what I’ve got going on down there.”

In the music video, Charli and Billie climb and roll down an “underwear mountain” as hundreds of bras and knickers fall from the sky. A message in the video credits announces that all the unworn undergarments will be donated to survivors of domestic violence through the non-profit organization I Support The Girls. This U.S.-based charity provides underwear and menstrual products to people experiencing homelessness.

Representatives from the organization expressed their excitement on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Wear ’em, post ’em, go donate ’em (And that’s exactly what happened. 10,000 pairs from @charli_xcx are being donated to ISTG).” They also mentioned that their warehouse would be “overtaken” by the “formidable panty mountain.”

The video’s director, Aidan Zamiri, revealed on Instagram that Charli and Billie filmed the video just a few days prior. “Big insane music video, 10 thousand panties (give or take), 2 icons of modern music, 1 bulldozer,” he wrote. “We shot this on Sunday btw! I love everyone involved, and I am so insanely grateful to our cast and crew for making this happen. Underwear mountain lives.”

Billie, known for her selective collaborations, thanked Charli for “letting me be a part of dis (sic).” Charli replied, thanking Billie for being on the track and expressing her admiration: “I’m beyond honored. Love and respect forever! You’re one of a kind.”

“Guess” is from Charli’s new album Brat. She previously collaborated with Lorde on a remix of her song “Girl, So Confusing.”
