Hot on the heels of announcing their mammoth 2017 Australian tour, the partially-reformed classic Guns N’ Roses lineup returned to their hometown of Los Angeles to play a couple of Godzilla-sized stadium shows. Naturally, the occasion attracted plenty of celebs, including the one with the biggest Appetite For Destruction of them all, Mr. Charlie Sheen.
The tiger-blooded actor, who’s been chums with Slash for years, was clearly having a #Winning time at the show, and was snapped partying like a total freakin’ rock star from Mars in the crowd, and even stopped to take a few selfies with fans.
“And right after this picture was taken, he whispers in my ear, ‘That’s how rumours get started’,” one female punter wrote. “Charlie Sheen sure had himself a good time. Thank you for stopping to take a picture, Charlie.”
“Charlie on the charlie,” wrote another (although we all know that Charlie Sheen doesn’t need to dance with Mr. Brownstone because he’s already on a drug and it’s called Charlie Sheen).
Sweet Charlie O’ Mine also posted his own pic from the show – a massive screen showing his m8 Slash shredding a Les Paul, as he does – and gushed about what a killer time he had.
“Beyond epic,” he wrote. “An amazing night of pure rock & roll GnR brilliance! Thank u gentlemen, I really needed that!”
Sheen has recently been battling an HIV diagnosis, which would be enough to kill anyone’s buzz. But in all the pics posted from the GNR show, he was all smiles.
Sheen’s rave review of Gunners also bodes well for Aussie fans who are waiting to see what the recently reunited core trio Slash, Duff & Axl Rose bring when they hit the stage together Down Under next February for the first time since 1993.
