Chelsea Wolfe Cancels 2018 Australian Tour After Promoter Is Accused Of Sexual Misconduct

Chelsea Wolfe‘s Australian tour has been cancelled after the promoter was accused of sexual misconduct.

Aussie concert promoter David Cutbush was fired from his position at Life Is Noise after there were allegations made against him on Facebook including allegations of inappropriate behaviour towards an underage girl and alleged verbal and physical abuse against women.

Wolfe took to Facebook to announce that the 2018 Australia and New Zealand tour would no longer be going ahead due to the allegations.

“It came to light that the promoter of our Australia and New Zealand tour Dave Cutbush has been accused of sexual misconduct,” she wrote.

“Under these circumstances we don’t feel it would be right to continue working with him, so we are canceling our Aus/NZ March 2018 tour.”

She continued, “I’ve dealt with my own share of bullshit from men in this industry and beyond so I know what it’s like, and I’m glad that people are speaking out about their experiences in order to create a better atmosphere for all.”

Wolfe hopes to reschedule the tour, however, there are no dates set just yet.

Life Is Noise also provided an update on its Facebook page about other tours that were planned. Sleep have cancelled their Australian tour while an update will be given on the scheduled Wolves In The Throne Room tour soon.
