Circa Waves, Ry X Announce Splendour Sideshow Supports

Just one week out from Splendour In The Grass 2014, indie pop four-piece Circa Waves and LA based Australian artist Ry-X have announced the acts who will be filling the coveted support slots for their headlining sideshows.

Warming up the Sydney stage for Liverpool lads Circa Waves for their headline Newtown Social Club show, presented by yours truly, will be local indie act Mt Warning. The NSW band, whose name comes via their home town, Mount Warning, were recently added to the Splendour bill after Nashville’s The Wild Feathers cancelled their tour due to “unforeseen scheduling conflicts.”

LA based Australian artist Ry Cumming, known as Ry X, has won himself legions of fans across Europe and the US and while heading home for Splendour to perform with his band The Acid, he’ll also be taking the stage for some solo headlining shows.

Joining Ry X in Sydney will be local three-piece and purveyors of “ghost folk” Little May. The Melbourne support slot will be filled by the solo project of Melbourne-based singer and producer Martha Brown, bAnoffee. See all the tour dates below.
