City And Colour Is Playing An Exclusive Closing Night Show For Brisbane Festival

Dallas Green – AKA City and Colour – will perform his only Australian show this year as part of Brisbane Festival 2019, closing the festival on Saturday, 28th September at the Riverstage.

The Canadian post-hardcore guitarist turned singer/songwriter will be joined by beloved Aussie band The Jezabels along with rising star Asha Jefferies, and there are more special guests to be announced. The show coincides with the dazzling Sunsuper Riverfire fireworks display, accompanied by a special live screening of Channel Nine’s exclusive coverage.

The exclusive Brisbane Festival show will see Green play favourites from his back catalogue, along with previewing tunes from his forthcoming sixth studio album. Green has released two singles from the album thus far, the gorgeous ‘Strangers’ along with ‘Astronaut’.

The full support lineup announcement for the show is on the way. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Thursday 4th July.

Elsewhere on the Brisbane Festival program are the likes of Justin Townes Earle, The Amity Affliction’s ‘Heaven & Hell’ festival, and Tropical Fuck Storm playing an original score alongside a screening of No Country for Old Men.
