Party-starters Client Liaison have finally returned with new music, giving us the incredibly funky ‘Survival In The City’.
This is the band’s first new music since they released their stellar debut album, Diplomatic Immunity, back in late 2016. Since then, they’ve been completely dominating the festival circuit, including a Tina Arena-featuring set at Splendour In The Grass 2017.
On recording the song, the band say they were inspired by architecture, and in unconventional places to say the least.
“We’ve been looking at a lot of architecture actually, that’s been influencing our sound,” band member Harvey Miller told triple j. “I say that in all seriousness. Mainly interiors: Sizzler, Smorgy’s, family restaurant chains.”
To coincide with the release, the band are also launching their ‘Client Liaison Deluxe Line Resort 2018’ fashion collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week on Wednesday, 16th May.
