COG’s Tour Is SOLD OUT Already So New Shows Have Been Added

Behold the power of the moving COG!

Mere hours after gloriously emerging from their 5-and-a-half year hiatus to announce a run of reunion shows, the Sydney prog-rockers have got a completely SOLD OUT tour on their hands.

Thankfully, they’ve announced a bunch of extra shows to satiate gutted punters who blinked and missed out on tickets.

In addition to the four previously-announced East Coast dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Byron Bay, the trio have just added extra shows for Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

COG went on hiatus in 2010 after 12 years of solid touring and two studio albums, including their latest full-length, 2008’s Sharing Space.

They’ve yet to announce whether their reunion tour means that new music may also be on the horizon, but we’re keeping our fingers firmly crossed.

UPDATE 11/02/16: Cog’s 2016 east coast tour has completely sold out again, and the band have shared the following message:

“And yet, after all this time you guys still have our backs? Incredible. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and wanted once again. You amaze us with your generosity and for that we are eternally grateful. We will do our best and work hard to return the favour. See you all in July.”
