Slipnot frontman Corey Taylor never seems to be far away from controversy, but recently he opened up in an candid interview about his personal life and his wife Stephanie Luby, who he married in 2009.
Speaking with Killpop the metal legend shared the intimate tale of how he and Luby met and fell in love, admitting that at the beginning he had to explicitly tell her that he was trying to flirt with her.
Responding to a question about whether it was “love at first sight”, Taylor responded. “I knew that there was something… Okay, let’s put it this way: When I saw her, I was knocked out, and I knew that I wanted to pursue her, and it took a little time.
“I had to gently tell her that I was flirting with her, ’cause she just wasn’t getting it,” he said. “I was, like, ‘You realize I’m flirting with you like crazy?’ And she was, like, ‘Ahhhh…’ And the more we talked, the more we really connected.”
