Coroner Confirms Keith Flint’s Cause Of Death

The world is still reeling from the loss of The Prodigy frontman Keith Flint’s tragic passing last week, and now a coroner has confirmed his cause of death.

According to BBC, Flint died as a result of hanging. He was 49 years old.

On July 23, a full hearing will be held that will include the results of a toxicology report that is currently underway. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

The band posted a statement on social media when news broke on Monday, 4th March, saying “it is with deepest shock and sadness that we can confirm the death of our brother and best friend Keith Flint.”

“A true pioneer, innovator and legend. He will be forever missed. We thank you for respecting the privacy of all concerned at this time.”

Tributes from musicians were pouring out all across the internet, including Foo Fighters, The Chemical Brothers, Slipknot and more.

The Prodigy have cancelled all upcoming tour dates and festival appearances.
