Daniel Seavey Announces 2025 Australian Tour

Daniel Seavey has announced a headlining tour of Australia, less than a year after his solo debut in support of Dean Lewis. The upcoming run will see the American singer-songwriter, formerly of boy band Why Don’t We, play five shows across the country in June 2025. The full list of Seavey’s Australian headlining tour dates, as well as ticketing information, can be found below.

Next month will see Seavey release his debut solo album, entitled Second Wind, which is set for release on Friday, March 7th. Five singles have been released from the album in the lead-up to its release: ‘The Older You Get’ last May, ‘Other People’ in August, ‘Gateway Drug’ in October, ‘If I Ever Get To Heaven’ in November and the title track last month.

“When i created this album, I built it all around the idea of my live show,” wrote Seavey when announcing the Second Wind world tour. “I imagined the live rendition for every single song at the same time I was creating the song. You have no idea how excited I am to bring it all to life for you.”

Seavey first toured Australia as part of Why Don’t We in 2019, playing three east-coast shows as well as performing at that year’s Logie Awards. The group ultimately split up in 2022, following ongoing legal issues with their former manager. Seavey launched his solo career at the end of that month, releasing his debut solo EP Dancing In The Dark in August of 2023.
