Radiohead Announce First Australian Tour In 15 Years

Well, that didn’t take long. Radiohead have officially announced their long-awaited return to Australia, locking in a mammoth 16-date arena tour for May and June 2027.

Just days after mysterious Radiohead flyers began popping up around Melbourne teasing something Australian fans have been waiting a very long time for, the band have confirmed they’ll return down under for the first time in 15 years.

The 2027 tour will see Radiohead perform a whopping 16 shows across Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, kicking off with four nights at Perth’s RAC Arena from Monday, 3rd May.

They’ll then head east for six shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, before wrapping up the tour with another six-night residency at Sydney’s Afterpay Arena, concluding on Tuesday, 1st June.

The shows mark Radiohead’s first Australian tour since 2012 and follow the band’s run of European residencies in November and December 2026.

It’s the latest chapter in the return of the hugely influential UK rockers, whose nine-album catalogue stretches from their 1993 debut Pablo Honey through to their most recent studio LP, 2016’s A Moon Shaped Pool.

Given the level of demand likely surrounding Radiohead’s first Aussie shows in a decade and a half, there’s a slightly different ticketing process in place this time around.

Fans will need to register for access to the ticket sale, with the system designed to give punters fairer access and minimise automated and unauthorised ticket purchases.

Registrations for both general and accessible tickets open at 5pm AEST on Monday, 7th September and close at 5pm AEST on Thursday, 10th September.

Importantly, there’s no advantage to registering early, with every registration submitted during the window to be treated equally.
