Death Grips Share ‘On GP’ Video From Their Final Album

The end is nigh for Death Grips as they are seemingly readying the release of their final album the powers that b, sharing one of its songs On GP.

the powers that b is a double LP and while we’ve already heard the first side niggas on the moon, we’re still waiting on its second half jenny death. Consequence Of Sound reported last week that the website of their record label Harvest Records had listed that the full LP would be out on 17th March, however, that information has now been pulled from the label’s website.

On GP is the second track we’ve heard from jenny death following Inanimate Sensation and it’s been released with an accompanying video. True to Death Grips style the video for the 7-minute plus song is home-made and cryptic featuring a rather uncompelling musician.

the powers that b is Death Grips’ sixth and final album, capping off a short but turbulent career which saw them signed and then dropped by Epic Records after they released their second album No Love Deep Web for free without the label’s knowledge. It also featured an erect penis on the cover which didn’t help things.

The group announced their break-up on Facebook last year writing, “We are now at our best and so Death Grips is over. We have officially stopped. All currently scheduled live dates are canceled.”

We are yet to be updated on whether the album will or won’t be released on 17th March. Stay tuned for more details as they come to hand.
