Diplo has taken to Instagram to share the news that he is a father for the third time, announcing he has a son named Pace with model Jevon King. The child was born back in March as revealed by King at the time, but up until just recently it wasn’t common knowledge that Diplo and King had a romantic relationship.
In a new post earlier this week, Diplo shared a video of the video taken by King, along with a caption announcing he had “an entire ass baby during quarantine”.
The producer – real name Thomas Pentz – says he is yet to meet his two-month-old son due to coronavirus-related travel restrictions, saying, “I was hesitant to post him because not only does he already had a better haircut than me.. But also because I haven’t met him yet since we are separated by a million miles and closed borders.”
Acknowledging that both mother and son are happy and healthy, Diplo says he’ll be going to meet his new child “as soon as we turn a corner on this world shutdown”.
Pace is Diplo’s third child. He has two sons – Lockett and Lazer – with ex-girlfriend Kathryn Lockhart.
