Drake Addresses Getting Booed Off Stage At Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw

Drake has broken his silence after a spectacular incident that saw him booed off the stage by fans who apparently weren’t too impressed by his surprise set at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Festival.

Taking to Instagram, the Canadian pop superstar posted a snap of himself and Tyler, while commenting on the incident via a sarcastic quip.

“Plot twist…just signed a 10 year residency at Camp Flog Gnaw sorry kids see you EVERY SINGLE YEAR till you are 30,” he wrote.

Well, it was a much more lighthearted reaction than Tyler’s at any rate.

The rapper has already made his feelings on the whole situation very clear via a long, all-caps rant on Twitter, saying that he thought “bringing one of the biggest artists (sic) on the fucking planet to a music festival was fire.”

“Some created a narrative in their head and acted out like assholes when it didn’t come true and I don’t fuck with that,” he said.

He then added that it was just a minority who caused the scene, saying “mostly everyone was having a great time”.

“Those shits in the front area were the ones being mad rude…y’all represented me and flog to my guest and made us look sooo entitled and trash.”

“That shit was like mob mentality and cancel culture in real life and I think that shit is fucking trash.”

He also changed his Twitter bio to “embarrassed by fans right now”.

Yeesh.
