Drake’s ‘More Life’ Album Project Has Been Delayed Til Next Year

Unlike Ja Rule, Drake is not always on time.

After previously announcing that his new album project More Life would drop in December, Drizzy’s manager has now confirmed that the R&B dude’s release plans have been pushed back til 2017.

As Billboard reports, Oliver El-Khatib revealed on OVO Radio this weekend that Drake’s “playlist” – which has been billed as a soundtrack to Drake fans’ lives — won’t be out til next year now.

D-Unit then echoed the announcement with an Instagram post, writing alongside a video of him shooting some hoops: “Finally got to play today after recovering from the ankle injury. Happy to be back at 100 and ready for More Buckets More Shows and More Life 2017”.

Driz, whose last release was his massive 2016 album Views, already dropped four tracks off the new project — Fake Love, Two Birds One Stone and Sneakin featuring 21 Savage, as well as a remix of Wanna Know by UK artist Santan Dave.

The exact release date of More Life has yet to be announced, but it’s apparently due early next year. We’ll keep you posted on any more news as it comes in.
