UPDATE 05/08/2021: Cub Sport, Peking Duk and More Announced for Ability Fest 2021
Here’s some excellent news amid all the recent COVID fuckery – Ability Fest is back on!
The fully-accessible festival, which was launched by Paralympic legend and triple j alumnus Dylan Alcott back in 2018, will return this November at a shiny new Melbourne location.
After taking a breather last year due to the pandemic, the event will be back in full swing on Saturday, 27th November, going down at the picturesque Alexandra Gardens on the southern side of the Yarra.
As always, the 18+ festival will celebrate inclusivity and people of all genders, disabilities and races, with easy access for people of all abilities, as well as multiple viewing platforms for wheelchair users and AUSLAN translators taking to the stage for all the mainstage acts.
The lineup is due to drop this Thursday, so keep an eagle eye on the feed for more info, but to give you a refresher on what kind of quality you’re in for, previous instalments have included Flight Facilities, Client Liaison, Kingswood, Tkay Maidza, Jack River, Boo Seeka and more.
Until then, you can RSVP and keep updated with all the ticketing info over on the Ability Fest website
