Melbourne is set to host the Hip Hop: A United Front charity event in support of mental health organisation Headspace later this month, with artists like Dylan Joel and producer extraordinaire M-Phazes on the lineup.
Hip Hop: A United Front is heading to Fitzroy’s iconic Evelyn Hotel on Saturday, 16th January, packing live DJs, graffiti artists and a rooftop art exhibition (weather permitting). The event will be promoting the work of Headspace’s Collingwood branch, which helps raise awareness and provide early intervention for youth mental health issues.
The locally-sourced music lineup for Hip Hop: A United Front also features the likes of MzRizk, Thaddeus Doe, Mistress, Verbal Tactics and Man Made Mountain, who are promising to pump out seven hours of live hip hop across the evening.
Pieces created by local artists and photographers will also be up for sale at the event, which is giving all of its proceeds to Headspace Collingwood.
