Eagles Of Death Metal Are Returning To Paris To Play A Show Tomorrow

Less than a month after the devastating terror attacks on The Bataclan theatre that claimed the lives of 89 fans, Eagles Of Death Metal are set to return to Paris to take the stage once again.

As Billboard reports, the band will appear with U2 during their concert at Paris’ AccorHotels Arena on Sunday, December 6th (i.e. tomorrow).

The appearance has yet to be officially announced, but the music rag claims that EODM – complete with Josh Homme – will join Bono & co on stage for the final song of their set tomorrow night.

U2’s two-night stint in the French capital had originally been scheduled for November 14th and 15th, but was postponed in the wake of the horrific November 13th attack.

Following an emotional interview about the events of that night, Eagles Of Death Metal have launched a charity campaign to raise money for the victims of the terrorist massacre, including their merch manager, Nick Alexander.

The band have put a call out to the global music community to cover their song I Love You All The Time, with all royalties to go towards the victims’ families.

Here in Australia, Melbourne rock den Cherry Bar has announced an EODM-themed charity night, with all proceeds to go towards the same cause.

Meanwhile, EODM drummer Julian Dorio has vowed the band will return to The Bataclan as soon as they can to finish the show that ended so tragically.

According to Billboard, that could happen in February 2016, which is when the band are due to resume their postponed European tour.

UPDATE 07/12/15:  According to a statement from U2, reports that EODM will join them onstage in Paris are not true. “Some people have been saying that Eagles of Death Metal will appear on stage with U2 tonight,” reads their statement. “This is not the case. We have another surprise guest planned for tonight’s show.‎”
