Ed Sheeran’s New Album Will Feature Kylie Minogue & Jimmy Barnes

Ed Sheeran has revealed that Aussie icons Kylie Minogue and Jimmy Barnes will be featuring on his forthcoming album. He’s told Ash London that the pair will be performing backing vocals.

In his chat with Ash London, the Michael Gudinksi state funeral came up. The legend’s memorial service was huge and it showed just how special his relationships with his artists were.

Ed Sheeran flew straight to Australia when he heard the news. He and Kylie then performed together to pay tribute to Gudinski.

“Jimmy Barnes and Kylie are actually singing on the album now. I’ve got them singing backing vocals on it.”

“Those two people – from knowing Michael, [Kylie & Jimmy] they’re the most important people in his life, musically. He was always saying, ‘Kylie!’ or ‘Jimmy Barnes!’.”

“I sung with Kylie and I hung with Jimmy Barnes afterwards. And I was just like, ‘you two have to be on this song.'”
