Hot on the heels of making history as the first Indigenous woman to take out the Best Adult Contemporary Album award at the 2024 ARIAs, lutruwita/Tasmania-based artist, activist, author and proud Warnindhilyagwa woman Emily Wurramara has announced a string of encore tour dates in honour of the award-winning album in question, NARA.
The fresh tour will encompass headline dates across Dharawal Country (Wollongong), Ngunnawal Country (Canberra) and Naarm/Melbourne (marking the acclaimed artists’ first headline show there in 9 years) as well as festival appearances across the country at Victoria’s Treaty Day Out and Riverboats, WOMADelaide and Perth Festival.

“I [want] to say how honoured I am to be the first Indigenous woman to win the Best Adult Contemporary Album Award ever in ARIA history,” the artist said in a press statement about the milestone achievement.
“I’d just like to acknowledge all the Elders and all the mob who came here in order for me to be here. NARA is a big album for me, and I am so so honoured to be receiving this nod and recognition – big love, and thanks everyone for the support”
Wurramara’s 2025 NARA encore tour comes in celebration of both the multi-award-winning album and successful initial album tour, which included multiple sold out shows across the country.
