Slim Shady’s time of death has officially been called. Eminem has announced his 12th studio LP, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), will be released next Friday, 12th July.
The Detroit rap legend confirmed the news on social media this week, also dropping a cinematic, horror-themed teaser trailer for the record (suss it below).
“OH SH*T!!!”
The forthcoming record will form the follow-up to 2020’s Music to Be Murdered By LP, which arrived as a surprise release in January of that year.
We’ve already heard its first cut, ‘Houdini’, while a second single, ‘Tobey’ – a collab with Detroit emcees Babytron and Big Sean – was supposed to arrive today. But sadly, fans have been left spewing after the release was delayed for unknown reasons…
We’ll keep you updated once it turns up!
