Enter Shikari Release New Track ‘Radiate’, Reveal Side Project Plans

Never ones to rest on their laurels, post-hardcore-step bros Enter Shikari have released Radiate, the first of three songs we can expect from them this year. The track has dropped at the same time the band have revealed they will be debuting their side project at the forthcoming Leeds/Reading festivals in the UK.

At this point in time, it’s unclear how Radiate and the remaining two new tracks will be released officially, if at all. So far the band have simply stated that they plan on releasing the songs “just for the hell of it”, which is about the most awesome thing a band can do. Radiate brings forth a much harder version of ES than we’ve seen lately, but don’t worry – it’s still powered by political and socioeconomic themes that we can all get down to.

Towards the end of August, the ES lads will be taking to the stages of the iconic Leeds and Reading festival but this time round there will be a point of difference. Say hello to Shikari Sound System, the “alter-ego” project the band has been teasing. From the debut performance for SSS, fans can expect “re-worked Enter Shikari tracks along with classic remixes and new surprises”. The tunage will consist of live instruments and prerecorded ones held together with “dub-plate wizardry”.

This band just couldn’t disappoint fans even if they tried. Stay tuned for the next two tracks from camp ES.
