Everclear Are Bringing Their ‘Sparkle And Fade’ Anniversary Tour To Australia

American power-pop outfit Everclear have announced their triumphant return to Australia, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their pivotal 1995 album Sparkle And Fade. The group, led by frontman Art Alexakis, have secured shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Mona Vale and Perth for this May.

Everclear’s 2015 Sparkle And Fade anniversary tour of Australia will not only celebrate the band’s extensive back catalogue, but also Sparkle And Fade‘s big singles, including Heroin Girl and Santa Monica. The band played headline shows in Australia back in 2012, following the release of their eighth album, Invisible Stars.

Everclear’s ninth studio album, Black Is The New Black, is due for release sometime in 2015. “It’s an unapologetic rock record that I feel combines the best of classic Everclear with contemporary production and what I feel is some of my best songwriting in years!” says Alexakis.

Everclear’s Sparkle And Fade Anniversary Tour of Australia begins in Adelaide on 7th May. Tour and ticket details are available below.

UPDATE 31/03/15: Everclear have added a second Melbourne show to their Sparkle And Fade Anniversary Tour, after selling out the first. The new show will take place at 170 Russell on Wednesday, 13th May. View updated tour and ticket details, below.
