Every Time I Die Guitarist Sued After Woman Is Injured In Stage Dive

Every Time I Die guitarist Jordan Buckley has been surprised to learn he’s being sued by a female fan who was injured after he allegedly stage dived “directly onto her head” at a recent gig in Michigan, USA.

According to local news rag WXYZ, local woman Tonya Ross claims she suffered “catastrophic injuries”, including a concussion and neck fracture, when the turnt axeman leapt from the stage at Pontiac’s Crofoot Ballroom.

“She said she is required to attend ongoing physical therapy and medical appointments,” the paper reports, with Ross alleging that she was “completely caught off guard” by Buckley’s calamitous lunge, which he “didn’t warn audience members” about prior.

It seems the news of the lawsuit has come as somewhat of a surprise to Buckley himself, who responded to a web article entitled ‘Every Time I Die Guitarist Jordan Buckley Being Sued By Audience Member After Crowdsurfing Injury’ by tweeting, “I am?”

It’s been a bit of a dramatic year for ETID, who toured Australia this year on the back of playing UNIFY Gathering 2017.

ICYMI: their bassist Steve Micchiche almost missed one of their gigs after becoming trapped in a backstage crapper, but was luckily freed in the nick of time in a daring sledgehammer rescue.
